Wild Magik Summer Apprenticeships: unleash your child's inner sense of wonder

A 3-day outdoor camp for children aged 7–12
Nature skills, forest school, creativity, and playful magic

Tir Na Nog Holistic Centre, Balfron
Dates 28, 30, 31 July 2025

This summer, young apprentices are invited into a place of real-world magik: hands-on craft, nature connection, and the spirit of wonder.

Across three lively days, your children will dive into a unique summer camp experience filled with the joy of outdoor play. We're bringing the magic of forest school to life, allowing kids to make their own wands, craft protective spells, forage plants, mix potions, and create mini besom brooms—learning traditional skills and nurturing their imagination in the great outdoors.

What to Expect
Guided by our magical forest school leaders from We Are Wonder, apprentices will:

Carve their own wand from green wood, choosing materials like hazel, elder, or rowan, and crafting a hidden core filled with natural "magikal" materials.

Invent and practise their own spells, blending words, gestures, and spell bombs made from birdseed and chalk-stained cloth.

Duel playfully with their new spells in a safe, imaginative space where taking part seriously makes the magik feel real.

Forage and learn about wild plants, discovering their historic and magikal uses. Mix potions and inks using natural materials, pestles, mortars, and foraged finds. Craft a broom (mini or full-sized), weaving hazel and birch into a traditional besom.

Each day begins with quiet observation and sensory games to awaken wonder and attention to the world around us.

We close our event with a Wild Magik Graduation Ceremony, where each apprentice is honoured for their creativity, craftsmanship, and connection to the natural world.

Our Wild Magik camp is rooted in playful exploration, self-direction, creativity, and a deep respect for the living earth. It’s one of the most unique kids clubs you'll find!

It’s a place for curious minds, nimble hands, and wild hearts to find their wonder.
