Outdoor Woodland Youth Group – Glasgow
Be part of a National Lottery-funded youth group for 12–16 year olds, meeting weekly in local greenspaces outside of school hours. Facilitated by a forest school leader and youth worker, sessions combine outdoor learning, practical skills, and creative projects, including fire-making, outdoor cooking, nature-based crafts, and collaborative activities.
The programme was developed following a pilot that highlighted the need for inclusive opportunities for teens to spend time outdoors together. Young people benefit from a supportive environment with gentle structure, while also having independence and choice over what they explore.
This group provides a welcoming space to build confidence, try new skills, connect with peers, and deepen your relationship with the natural world. Sessions are designed to balance guidance with self-directed exploration, fostering resilience, creativity, and social connection.
We plan to start sessions in early 2026. Please register your interest via email below.
